Email Marketing - When is the best day to send your email campaign?

The most important tip I can give to all budding marketers is to measure, measure and measure some more...this is very important when deciding which is the best day to send your email campaign.

When setting up an email marketing campaign - don't be afraid to try things out. Over the last six months, I have read numerous articles and statistics that tell you that this day or that day is the best day to send your email campaign. My feeling is that one size does not fit all...for example, if your product is aimed at the home user, then maybe the weekend is a good day to send your mail - in contrast if your product appeals to the business community, than a weekend mailing might not yield the best results.

My point is, measure the effects of your campaigns - send your mail on Tuesday this week and measure the results - try not to change much in your mail and send it on a Wednesday the following week and so on... you'll soon find out the best day of the week to send your campaign!
