Email Marketing - Explaining the terms

One of the things I found most confusing when I started in this business - trying to figure out what on earth people were talking about. People were throwing words around like, bounce backs (must be something to do with basketball?), Click-through rates and trigger based messaging and so on..it was like I was waking up to a whole new language.

Now, I was going to write out all the terms here and explain each of them to you... however I had a better idea - Wikipedia have some great definitions on their site, so to get the low down on all the relevant terms, click on this link, it will give you a great starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_marketing
