Email Marketing - Check and recheck your message before sending

Just last week I was about to send an email out to tens of thousands of customers... there were 6 or 7 different links to certain information and promotions... however, as I was waiting for some content on our site to be put up.. I omitted one link while this was been created.

So as you do, I went about my other million tasks for that day. Finally, I was informed the new webpage was on the server - so I went back to my mailing... had a quick read through once more and then sent the mail to my gmail, hotmail and work account (as I always do).. Thankfully I did. At this point I noticed when I clicked on one of the links nothing happened. This of course was one of the most important links in my campaign.

The moral of the story is... always check and recheck your mail, maybe send to a colleague or friend to read over it...it could save you or your company a lot of embarrassment!
